We had a fantastic stay at Restaurant Des Remparts! the room was contemporary and the bathroom was ultra modern. the heating system was great, and we loved the robes and tea making facilities. the large comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep. the highlight was the excellent food at the small downstairs restaurant. We also appreciated the complimentary pate and biscuits in the homely upstairs bar. the quirky nature of the interior added to the charm of the hotel. a very pleasurable experience. Cons: Finding the hotel was not obvious at first.

The hotel has a restaurant on the ground floor, but we opted for the Brassiere and had a great meal at good value. It was also located conveniently close to Chaumont's hidden gems like the cathedral and viaduct.
